If you have not yet tried getting yourself acrylic nails then it is high time you went for them. You can put your thoughts to rest in case you are wondering how to do acrylic nails all by yourself. To start off with, clean the surface of the nail so that there is no trace of moisture on it. Most people use soaps for the purpose. But it is best that you use acetone for the sanitization. This would make sure that your skin doesn’t lose moisture along with the nail surfaces, a very frequent problem that people face while doing acrylic nails at home is that the mixture of acrylic liquid and powder dries up while you are still applying it. This makes the nails look very clumsy.
The best way to void this situation is by using a lot of acrylic liquid so that the surface remains supple. Don’t worry bout ending up with very thick nail because anyway you are going to file the surface for finishing touch.
Experts would tell you to use two different colored acrylic powders for the best possible effect. Favorite suggestion of most experts is a delicate combination of white and pink. There is no better color than white for the region above the smile-line because white makes the nail look very neat and clean. And pink makes the area below the smile-line look quite delicate.
